Me: hello Mariam how are you?

 

Mariam: fine thank you.

 

Me: What's your topic for the e-portfolio?

 

Mariam: In my e-portfolio I choose the very interesting topic about Emirate sweets. In UAE we have many different kind of sweets. Many of those sweets was traditional. Many people in many countries we they come they like to eat Emirate sweets, because it has a different texture and variety of flavorous. In my e-portfolio I will write the famous sweets in UAE as much as i could try ,and collect a lot of information with links. In my sources faced little difficulties to get books in english that talk about Emirate sweet, but found many sites and a verity of talk and examples.

 

Me: Ohh..That’s nice.My e-portfolio is about Islamic art, and my topic is concentrating on three types of Islamic art.The first one is Vegetal patterns which is basically plants and the way how Islamic artiest draw plants.Then Geometric which is basically shapes. last Calligraphy  and it’s drawing arabic words. I choose this topic, because I love drawing and wanted to show some of the culture and religion. so this is a combination between the two. sources are plenty between books and websites, but website are easier to find.
